Christmas Lights in Rogersville, Tennessee
On our way back from shopping last evening, we drove to Rogersville, Tennessee, and outside of town there was a home that had really nice Christmas lights decorating their front lawn. It wasn't quite dark yet, so the pictures I took don't do it justice. Then we drove through the Rogersville, Tennessee, park. They have most of the children's play areas decorated with lights, and lights wrapped around the tree trunks. It was a beautiful sight and I took some pictures. (That dark shadow blocking part of the stocking is my DH.)
Rabbits cookin' coffee -- that's what the locals call it. But here in this little hollow in East Tennessee, when the hills surrender their misty hostage to reveal the stalwart cedars growing by the stream in our pasture, I know there is no place on earth I would rather be. The welcome mat is out! Come and sit on the porch and chat with me awhile!
Wow Aleta... These people really like decorating, don't they??? Beautiful! I love the big stocking despite the 'shadow.' ha ha
