In this scenario, the baby climbed up the tree first and then mama climbed up ahead of it as if to make sure it made it okay. Then a few days later there were two smaller babies out in the daytime with their mama and they climbed up the tree and were climbing all over each other, really cute. I read they come out in the daytime when they have the little ones.
I don't see many raccoons, seems like they stay well away from the populated areas and where there is plenty to eat. That being said, I think they are beautiful... Your lucky to be photographing them
Rabbits cookin' coffee -- that's what the locals call it. But here in this little hollow in East Tennessee, when the hills surrender their misty hostage to reveal the stalwart cedars growing by the stream in our pasture, I know there is no place on earth I would rather be. The welcome mat is out! Come and sit on the porch and chat with me awhile!
We never get to see raccoons in the daylight hours. You have to wonder what they are thinking when they`re sitting in the tree like that.phylliso

ReplyDeleteMy dogs scare away the raccoons. I only get to see them when they (rarely) run along the top of the fence and taunt the dogs.
